Lake Adventures.. Chris and Chris' Excellent Adventure

My Trip to lake George. I am currently on the trip still and will be at the lake till the 26th of July. The following will be highlights from the trip and the blow by blow of each day.

Day 1.
The trip to Lake George took 4.5 hours from New Egypt NJ. I drove with Chris. He is a very bad driver. He thinks only of himself on the road. He gets road rage very easily. It was annoying, but I lived through it. Driving with him was an experience, to say the least.
My own account upon entering into the town of Chester New York:
Just made it to Loon Lake today (Monday the 23, July 2012. It is a part of New York State.  The place we are staying at is owned by my friends Dad. It is very nice.  It overlooks the lake and has three stories. There is a yard with a fire pit and a dock for their boats as well. Overall, it’s a nice place to crash for the week.  Although, I doubt I will be spending a lot of time in the house. There are many things to do outdoors on our trip. I plan on taking the opportunity to check out the surrounding areas: Mountains, lakes, caves, attractions, boating, fishing, and a drive in Movie Theater.  I hope it doesn’t rain. Rain would take away from the adventure.
FYI: Just stopped writing to drink the Kraken with Chris. Chris 0, Kraken 1.  Needless to say he got owned.   Chris will attempt to take the Kraken on again tomorrow, or later today.  His account will be recorded.
Day 1 part 2: Today we woke up around 9:30 am and ate omelets. We got showered and headed outside to go to the caves. The caves were nice and very scenic. We checked out several locations on the cave trails. Once we were done with the caves we headed back to the lake house. We decided to drink something and head out to the jet skis. Chris and I went on one Jet Ski and it stalled out, Deana and Darian went on the other and it was dead. Long story short, we ended up on the fishing boat. We took it out to swim in the lake. The best moment of the swim was when me and Chris, un-knowingly to Deana and Darian, Jumped off the boat into the water while the boat was still in drive. Darian’s face was priceless. He looked around like a deer in the head lights. After about a minute or two, Darian figures out how to stop the boat.  Chris and I laughed so hard. The second great moment was when I knee boarded for the first time. Chris’ dad took us all out on the speed boat. When on the speed boat I tried 3 times and couldn’t get the feel for the balance. When Knee boarding you start by laying across the board and have to bring your body up so you are on your knees, all this while the boat is pulling you. It was tricky to get good balance, but after the 3rd attempt I got the hang of it and had a great ride. Tomorrow we are going tubing. It’s something I am looking forward to, for sure.  Kayaking, the mountain hike, and fishing are on the agenda for tomorrow as well. Right now it’s rainy, that’s why we stopped with the boating activities for the time being. We will eat later and head to the movies to see The Dark knight Rises. It’s still up in the air though. We might end up chilling at the house and having a bonfire instead. We have a lot of good stuff to drink. It’s going to be a great night regardless because I am not at work and I’m off for the next 5 days.

Day 1 ended with a bonfire and some board games due to crappy weather, but all in all a great night.
