Chris's Infamous movie reviews.

To keep true with my Blog, I will continue to review the movies I have seen as of late.
There are three in theater movies I would like to talk about.

First, Tropic Thunder. My brief synopsis is that, it is a comedy with only a few funny scenes. It came across a little to perverted for me. I'm not into gay humor and gory humor either. It did in fact have me laughing out loud at a few of the more slap stick jokes. I don't really recommend this movie, although it has numerous "big" name actors. One interesting fact about this movie is Robert downy Jr. plays a black man. If you don't know who he is, he is in fact, a white man. It was quite amusing. Over all this movie would have been a waist of my money, but I didn't pay. It was merely a waist of my time.

Second, Death Race. A Jason Statham , action packed film. It didn't disappoint. I went in thinking it was going to be Jason, kicking but, explosions, and decent plot twists. It met my expectations to a tee. Its one of those movies, what you see is what you get. Hard to go wrong, especially since Jason is the "It" boy in the action film genre right now.

Third,The Dark Night. If you haven't seen it yet, you should consider seeing it. The acting in it was some of the best acting I have seen in the last 10 years. It has several big name actors in it, including christian bale as batman, and Heath ledger as the joker. Other big name achtors include: Morgan freeman and Michael caine. The film has a dark feel to it. It holds through out the entire movie. It is very intense, but at the same time flows extremely well from one scene to the next; keeping a flow of suspence, chaos, and mystery. One sad fact about this film is, Heath ledger died shorly after the making of batman: Dark night. He over doesed on some drugs leading to his death. Many speculate that this would have been a break out success for Heath. This would have thrust him into a more popular career. Personlay speaking I think he should win some type of award, honestly his acting was just that good. Batman: Dark night is one of the best films I have seen. I would put it in my top ten movies of all time.

R.I.P Heathe ledger.
